No, timer is so very low we cannot hear it in any other room of the house. Have been searching to see if there is an option for volume control.

However, I am in my early 50's are use readers for reading and I need to use my readers to read the dials for the burners! It's a bummer, but the warming plate and warming drawer make it all worth it.

That’s what is so great about this range though, it has a Smart app. So when you are away from the range you can get a notification that the range is off! You must download the Smart Things app from Samsung onto your phone and sync up the range with your wi-if and you are set to go! It alerts you to the oven being ready to done and if your stovetop is on! The lights around the stovetop knobs are great! They illuminate a bright blue that is very noticeable. They are the first step in alerting you that they are on. The app is the second step. All in all a great range. Just wish this model came in induction!

It is annoying and I can not change it or hear it with my bad hearing. I have started to set the timer on my phone. The app is also useless when it comes to the timer for me.
