Hi ECarp! The broiler heating element is located inside the oven compartment of this range. ^Jecca

The broiler is in the oven space. The bottom drawer is just for storage of cookie sheets or other flat items.

The broiler is inside at top of the oven the drawer is for storage my last oven was same style i dislike drawer broilers as its like cooking on floor this stove has fifth burner in center cook top and comes with a nice rectangle griddle Broiler pan was not included this style takes searching thru specs to find drawer is storage broiler in oven
