Q: QuestionWhat is the quality of the insulation on this unit? Do the sides stay reasonably cool /warm and not get hot? I've bought cheaper ranges where the insulation was very poor, the sides got so hot you could barely keep your hand on it!

• A:Answer Needed to have a Samsung service person out for a different reason but he mentioned that most of his calls are for control board issues -- like this one. BB can give you the phone number to call for service. I recommend you do that even if you don't have extended warranty. I'm not suggesting you pay for service, call to see if they will send someone out for free.

Q: Questiondoes samsung make a stainless gas range with stainless side panels

• A:Answer Yes, It's in the next price range. It is about $1700.00. We are thinking about purchasing this option but with reading the reviews, the stainless was hard to keep clean. Plus, our stove is pushed in between the counters. The sides of the stove are not seen.
