“How well insulated is it? My current oven makes the top of the stove VERY hot; can keep pots hot without turning on burner. Would like to avoid that in new range. Gas is new to me, don't know what's normal.”

This oven is well made and insulated. It is normal to have heat come back onto the stove from the oven. This oven for me was better than my builder grade one that I started with. It let lots of heat out. This oven does not.
