The 31 inches width is the Best Buy spec not the manufacturer’s spec. I was confused too and had to call Best Buy to return and buy another one because of the width as I don’t have a 31 inches but the standard 30 inches space. Best Buy assured me that it was not the true spec. But you should check with Best Buy and they will confirm with you by looking up on the manufacturer site. Mine fits in a 30 inches space.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The oven actually measures a little under 30”, the range top has little lips on each side that sits on top of counter that make it 31”. Covers the imperfect cracks between range and countertop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No it doesn't. Go to Samsung's website and download the user manual. It gives you all of the dimensions. We had this same problem when measuring for our countertops. We were concerned it wouldn't fit. The 31" part is what slides on top your countertop. I want to say the part that'll go in your island was only 29" or so. Check the manual though it'll help.
