“Installing on an island or peninsula I see the sides of this unit have lip that would slide over top of a counter top for a nice clean look. Is this same lip on the rear of the unit? I would like to install this on a peninsula and can't find any pictures of the back of the unit. What would the back look like where the range meets the counter?”

The NX58H9950WS comes with a filler kit to help fill the gap between the back of the Range and the wall or counter behind it. One of the images on Best Buy's website shows the view of the Range from above it; the black strip on the back is the filler kit. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

Please try again later.Since Samsung answered this question saying the stove comes with a filler kit that puts a black strip between the stove / range and the wall behind it, and I recently bought this exact model stove and did not get a filler kit or black strip, I decided to go online and request it. The following is cut and pasted out of the online chat / conversation: Your Issue ID for this chat is LTK1125603122703X Allan S: I have double checked the information on all the resources available to us and found that the filler kit is not supplied with this range. So ... guess you can't trust any answer Samsung puts on this site.

BUT I'm the person who bought this exact stove from Best Buy 2 months ago and still does not have a working oven probe ... and I can tell you from experience that it did NOT come with any such part. And I still do not have a working oven probe.
