No it doesn't. From the manual: 1. Remove all accessories from the oven. 2. Pour approximately 10 oz. (300 ml) of water onto the bottom of the empty oven and close the oven door.Use tap water only, not distilled water. 3. Press Steam Clean. 4. Press START/SET.

No, you put a pan of water in the oven while running the steam clean cycle.

No...it is amazing!!! I love all the features. The only downside is keeping the top clean. I obsess over cleaning..

No, this range does not need a water hookup to use any of its features, including self clean. ^Lo
