• I was going to buy a ROKU when I decided to just go ahead and get a Samsung Smart TV... Everything I would have utilized with the ROKU is already on the Smart TV and makes for one less piece of equipment to have to deal with.

• I also have a Roku 4. The Roku 4 is capable of 4k UHD and is also capable of outputting 1080p or 720p. Best answer is that in order to use the highest capability of the Roku 4 you will need a 4k television with 2160p.
