A:Answer10 feet is perfect, it wont overwhelm you. I put this one in a bedroom, and a 65 inch in the living room. Either one would have worked in both rooms.

But you do not need to - usually the middle of the road is your best price and has all needed features.
One thing that is may matter is refresh rate - most middle of the road TV's are 120 and you may at times see fast action not keep up.
At 240 refresh rate this should not be an issue.
