The tv itself is 44.25 wide. However, if you plan on using the stand(s) to sit on a table, you will need a table at least 38" wide. The (2) stand feet are 36" apart and mount about 4" from each end of the tv. I put mine on a swivel wall mount so viewing angle can be adjusted and it makes it easier to get at the cabling.
