• There was a protective film on mine. There was a blue tab at the bottom left used to start the removal. It peeled off without ripping. There is also a thin protective plastic around the bezel as well.

• Hi there, if there is a film on your TV, you will see a blue tab in the upper left hand corner. Some TVs do come with film protectors, while some may not. ^Gina
