“Does this tv have a removable protective film applied on the screen for shipping?”

• curiousgeorge, if there is a film on your TV, you will see a blue tab in the upper left hand corner. Some TVs do come with film protectors, while some may not. ^Gina

• The screen itself did not, but the bezel did have a plastic adhesive film around it. In addition, there was foam packing around the edges and a thin foam cloth bag around the TV to protect it in shipping. Unless something heavy drops directly in the middle of the screen side of the box, it's pretty well protected for shipping.
