They are very generous with the TV space, I would say maybe an inch at max for the border around the sides, the legs for the stand go up and into the bottom sockets of the TV and then you give it a light twist to lock them in, i would say maybe 3 inches or less for the base. It's all around a very friendly and generous tv setup. Unlike most tv's that advertise 50' and you get 4-5 inches of a border and 45 inch of a tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Caleb - The 50TU8000 with the stand measures 44" x 28.3" x 9.9" - without the stand it is 44" x 25.4" x 2.4. The measurements between the feet are 39.8". It is a tall enough clearance to accomodate our soundbars to fit nicely underneath. ^Cris
