• Hi Susjan, You can usually choose 'New' or 'Open Box' as an option based on your price range. It does not come with a built in DVD player but does come with a Samsung smart tv app as well as A few other apps on the TV. I am unsure if this is a 2020 model, however i am highly impressed with the quality of the TV. It comes with two legs you insert and twist into the placement at the bottom for the TV stand, no screws or frustration setting it up, it very easy to setup. For the price you really can't beat it!

• Susjan, the TU8000 is a 2020 model. 2020 Samsung Smart TVs do not have built-in DVD players; you will need to utilize an external DVD player, or you can take advantage of our built-in App Store where you can choose and download from hundreds of apps. ^Gina
