“Is anyone else having this problem? I have a sound bar connected via an optical audio cable. It works only when the TV is set to the cable box. However, when I try to watch something using apps (Netflix, HBO) the sound bar doesn't work! Any ideas why?”

• My surround sound has optical 1 as an option to place surround sound for tv. I use that. Plays fine anything i play on tv.

• Hello Joe, in order to get the sound bar to work with the applications, you would need to hook the sound bar up using the HDMI ARC port on the TV. ^Rosi
