If you purchase a HDMI 2.0 you'll be fine. This is a mid range model obviously, so any input lag issues you may or may not have could be troubleshot from the TV and the PS4's settings. With that being said I have no issues with my fat model PS4, and I play FIFA , CoD, UFC, Madden, WWE 2K, God of War, GTA, I mean you name it I've played it and I've never once said to myself "There was a delayed reaction there." So take that as you will.
