Hi Joshua - The One Connect Box can absolutely be placed behind your TV and does not need to be within the remote's line of sight. The Frame TV’s included One Invisible Connection Cable is not rated for in-wall installation. An in-wall cable is available (Model: VG-SOCR86U/ZA), which can be ran through your wall. ~ Samsung Specialist
