You can by getting a Digital to Analog Audio Converter that allows the user to attach the fiber optic TOSLink cable from the TV to the converter, and from the converter to your stereo's RCA Aux/Tape input. These units are usually powered so you will need to have a power source, like a phone charger, attached to it. Cost for these devices can be as low as $25, up to whatever you wish to spend.
