According to Samsung's web site, it's Motion Rate 120 which means a 60Hz refresh rate.

Samsung's website lists a motion rate of 240, not 120, for the 50" Q80T. (See screen grab of specs below.) For the refresh rate, I initiated a chat with a Samsung agent and asked. The agent gave 120 Hz, not 60. So, which Samsung rep is right, ⌃Gina or Benji? (See screen grabs of chat below.) I'm not a gamer, but I do like to watch live sports, so while I don't purport to know how TV manufacturers think or market their products, I find it odd Samsung would release a 49" version of their Q80T series with only a 60 Hz refresh rate while all the larger Q80Ts have rates of 120 Hz, especially when the 49" was initially priced only $200.00 cheaper than the 55". The Q80Ts have been the best reviewed of Samsung's 2020 lineup, especially for gaming. And at only 60 Hz, the 49" is a fly in that ointment. In fact, a recent review on Rtings.com specifically targets the 49"'s 60 Hz refresh rate as a reason the Q80Ts were only "Notable Mentions" (https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/best/by-size/48-49-50-inch). Enter the 50". Why would Samsung release another Q80T only an inch bigger with the same subpar refresh rate and ask us again to settle at this price point? If the 49" was 120 Hz, it would already be on my wall, as would the 55" if my walls were configured with a tad more clearance. Here's hoping Benji has it right.
