• Yes, I have mine mounted on wall. Stand comes separate in the box so you never have to connect in the first place.

• Yes... there is a 400 x 400 Vesa mounting on the back. Vesa is the industry standard for wall mounting TV sets. You need to match the Vesa mount in size and and weight carrying capacity to the TV. Most full size wall mounts will handle the 38.4 lbs of this TV easily and are adjustable across a range of Vesa mount spacing. (200 x 200 to 400 x 400) I got this information from the Best Buy product page "Specification" menu.
