No hdmi cables come with the set. If you plan to watch 4k content, you will need a hdmi cable rated for 4k. If not, regular hdmi cables work just fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You will need HDMI cables capable of handling 4K signals. Most cables can, but I ran into trouble with my generic cables (video worked but sound kicked out after an hour and I had to reset the TV) and had to buy a $70 cable (I bought the cinnamon version of the cable at Best Buy) but since getting the new cable I have had no issues. This TV looks amazing even with regular TV signals and I'm hearing cablevision will soon offer 4K cable boxes to offer up 4K native signals. If you plan to get a 4K blu ray player, you will need the "chocolate" version of the cable as a minimum as it is the only one that can handle the signal. The reason its so expensive is it had silver tips which apparently have less resistance than gold tips.
