Is this a 2016 model year? null

Yes this is a 2016 model first announced during CES 2016 and released later in the year.

I don't think it's a 2016 model, but I can't say that for sure. This is a series 8000 tv, and I know that there are series 9000 models out now. I think that those are probably the 2016 models. But I still think that my series 8000 model is pretty awesome and I'm very happy with it.
