I have ran into the same issues, I would say 8 out of 10 times with older TV's. I have cured some by simply adjusting the equalizer setting on the TV, say 2 out of those 8. A good sound bar would be the way to go. I wouldn't elect to buy a cheaper one, if I have the budget that is. Working in this industry everyday for the last 13 years, I would say economically a Yamaha Sound Bar such as the YAS 201 or 203, would be the way to go. These sound bars will not only give you back your clear voice but have surround built in as well. Now if you have the budget I would go with a YSP2500 or the like.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Factory sound is OK. With the thin tvs the picture is the best, but leaves no room for current tech speakers. I highly recommend a quality sound bar at a minimum when purchasing this tv.
