• It works unbelievably well with Direct TV. I used to have cable and the resolution sucked on our curved TV. For some reason, switching from cable to DTV made an enormous difference.

• You can use this TV with the DirecTV Genie system and do not need to have a separate box or a Genie Mini ~ the TV can access the DirecTV system through a special connection. However, I have noticed that the response time between the TV and the Genie is slower on this TV than on the TVs that have the Genie or Genie Mini.

• This television have be hooked up to any satellite or cable service.
