QuestionDoes this tv generate lag? Ghosting? Afterimages?I recently returned a cheap tv due to the problems above im looking to spend big on a great tv and i want to make sure it wont be a problem i usually play sports games and watch sports i dnt want afterimages or ghosting let alone lag please help

- Answer the samsung 55" curved is wonderful for sports, movies, everything. It is clear, crisp picture and the color is awesome. I have looked at alot of tv's but this is one of the best. Also get the pearl hdmi cable brings out the best of your tv.

- Answer I replaced my 47 inch Vizio with this Samsung. This filled in a few more inches length wise in my cabinet and a couple inches height wise. The actual dimensions of the Samsung tv are listed in specifications for your comparison.

QuestionI just bought & set up. When I check the source, the reading is 2160/720 - 60. Does this translate to 720p and 60Hz? How do I get improved performance

- Answer Rob, Yes, that wouldd be 720/60Hz as an incoming signal. Try increasing the output of the video signal at the source. This is a 4K TV, so it will always display (and convert) the signal to 4K. The information you're seeing is the TV letting you know what the incoming signal is. If this is your Blu-Ray player or a cable box, you can go into THAT unit's video menu, and change the sent resolution to 1080p (or highest available is usually going to give you the best result), and then you'll see that reflected in the info bar indicating so on the TV. - Answer It works unbelievably well with Direct TV. I used to have cable and the resolution sucked on our curved TV. For some reason, switching from cable to DTV made an enormous difference.
