Purely subjective. Side by side OLED is brighter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Originally was going with lg pled. Comparison of the two convinced me to purchase the Samsung 9500 . Samsung has over 1 billion colors , lg has about 4 million. Screen on the Samsung Is guaranteed not to get burn in. Love the Samsung , picture is unbelievable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On the lg eg9600 series and older .the 9500 samsung series is brighter , and better picture clarity, however, the oled have true colors deeper richness, If you won't a good oled lg get the c6p model it's last year's it produces up to 700 knits. And even though it's not as bright yet as the samsung tvs , However this year's told up LG's are now up to 1000 knits. Being the brightest LG'S TV S have out, Still the samsung is producing around 1,500 to 2000 knits

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As much as it's a personal preference based on who is looking at the tv, I believed that not only does it have a better picture, but also you won't have the worry about the risk of burn ins on your tv after left on for long periods of time. Burn ins have been a small problem for oled tv screens.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.OLED IS BRIGHTER, more natural, but probably about 20,000 hour service live (about 11 years @ 5 hrs a day or 2.5 years at 24/7) It is much lighter too. The 55" is 29 lbs and the samsung 55 is over 10 lbs more
