There is a setting in the sound setting for games and such but I cannot get my surround sound to work through HDMI or audio cable!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just for note, that is not what ARC is for. ARC does exactly what it says it does, it returns audio from the TV back through the HDMI to whatever audio equipment is connected to it, usually a receiver or soundbar. You can always connect gaming consoles directly to any HDMI port on a TV and the TV will receive both video and audio through the HDMI cable, as long as the game console sends both video and audio through the HDMI cable. The ARC functionality is used to send audio from the TV to a receiver. This is handy because it allows you to only need one HDMI cable connected to the TV. This HDMI cable can then send video to the TV from a receiver\soundbar and also send audio from the TV to the receiver\soundbar. This allows all audio to be played through your receiver\soundbar, as long as the receiver\soundbar supports ARC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does have it.
