How do I connect the remote via Bluetooth because it does not seem to work with the IR interface blocked i tried many times - can I reset the remote or how do I check on the Bluetooth connection rot he remote? The remote works fine as long as the IR interface is not blocked.

The IR sensor is only a back up for the older versions of Samsung remote or a universal remote that does not have Bluetooth. Please make sure that you connect the sound bar utilizing an optical cable to give you the best compatibility. Then just set the speaker output to optical on the TV. If you have continued issues, try to get a Samsung sound bar so that the remote frequencies match and everything works together a little simpler.
