“I purchased this TV in August, only 8 months ago. The remote has stopped working. I have done all the tests and yes I have changed the batteries. Seems like the infrared light is not working. Very disappointed! Has anyone else had this issue?”

Battery contacts in the Roku remote device may be dirty or coroded from old batteries. Try cleaning with a number 2 pencil eraser and reinstall fresh batteries. Also ensure the contact springs for both batteries are not loose and are secure in the Roku remote.
