• Hi Sheltergrammie, the dimensions of the 55" TU7000 TV are (48.4 x 30.6 x 9.8) (WxHxD in inches) when measured with the feet. The measurement between the feet is 37.5" ^Val

• I think the display is something around 38 inches in length, and the feet do sit in a fair bit, maybe 4-5 inches from the edges.

• The directions suggest a stand atleast 37.5 inches wide. So long as your stand is atleast that then you'll be fine.
