I'm returning mine tomorrow for the same reason. Everyone is having the problem. It's poor power supply design. If you can't hear the drip drip, the TV may be fine for you. But if you use it in a quiet room like your bedroom, it will keep you up at night and you have to unplug the TV every time when you're not using it Also very buzzing and hums when there is bright video on the screen. Such a noisy TV.

These materials are subject to expansion and contraction due to temperature changes. Occasional creaking, popping, or cracking may be heard.
