“what is the distance from the end of the tv to the stand legs? I have a 48 inch long (left to right) and 23 inch wide (front to back) entertainment center, need to make sure legs will fit both ways”

I dont know the exact distance, but if you re looking at the 55 inch Samsung it should fit fine. My tv stand is 47 1/2 inches wide and the legs fit fine with about 6 inches or so on both sides. The sides of the tv are almost flush with the end of the tv stand.
