No, the backside of the TV (the monitor) is flat with no provision to “hide” the controller box. The only way to hide the box is to have a niche cutout behind the TV. The controller is about as long as a shoebox, and about two-thirds the width. The height is about 1-1/2”. Samsung provides a very thin wire to connect the TV to the controller. It is almost invisible. If the controller is anywhere near the TV, you will be able to route the wire inconspicuously. The cable is not HDMI, it is proprietary to Samsung. The thinnest wire I’ve ever seen in AV use. About half the diameter of a spaghetti noodle.

The whole point of the box is to move all the connecting cables away from the TV and just have the one "invisible" line going to the TV. It does that really well. The TV also has a separate power cable you will need to run.
