“un55nu800DFXZA. back of TV has 4 holes; the top 2 are not as deep as bottom 2. 4 adapter plugs came with TV. All same length & width. they slide in all holes. are not secure. also don't have threads for screws. how do you mount wall brackets to TV???”

In your manual it explains to use longer than normal M8 screws. 43-45mm long. Those “adapter plugs” aren’t there to secure it but to give it a flat base for the mounts since the back of the tv is rounded. It’s an awful design.
