There is a couple differences. The q6fn does not come with a one connect box whereas the fa does. Also the Q6FN comes with ambient mode and Bixby and what that means is itll be able to blend to your wall so u don't really see it. Go to your local bestbuy to see a demo. Also the Bixby is a more intuitive voice control and smart features. Also the Q6fn is going to have better dimming for your contrast which is your black and whites. Either one is a great deal but I would recommend goin with the q6fn over the q6fa. Q6fa is 2017 model and the q6fn is a 2018 model

Please try again later.I called Samsung and asked them this exact question Their reply was the 6 qfam Had a higher transfer rate and this they said was important to someone who is very critical watcher not really a deciding factor; however when I told them that Best Buy had this set at $999.9 vs $1,299 for the other set they said it was a great deal and actually more bang for the buck!! And I said please excuse me but I'm hanging up now and going to buy the fan set! And I did!,
