“Am looking at this tv for purchase. As I am older and the eyes and ears are not what they used to be, I think this size will be adequate but I worry about the sound system. Do I need to also buy an additional sound system to go along with this tv?”

My husband wound up getting an additional sound system - a sound bar and a woofer - it was a personal preference. I thought the sound was fine but the TV is in a small room (man cave) so it might be different in a larger room. My advice is to try it as is for awhile. You can always add the sound system later. They will be glad to help you get the right thing in the store!
