You ask an excellent question when you are doing a self install! However, you fail to give the dimension of the conduit tube behind your wall or the length of the run necessary that's needed for the cable to reach where you plan to place the connect box? After we considered several installation options ourselves, we decided to purchase a mounting bracket that would allow us to mount the connect box behind the TV as we already had a power outlet on the wall behind the TV. Since both my husband and I are Seniors, we decided to have the Geek Squad do the physical installation following our plan; so I didn't actually measure the cable length but it appeared to be about six feet long. I know this is not the specific answer your seeking; but maybe this will stir your thinking regarding another possible installation option you may consider
