These TV rocks. It sit flush against the wall with the no gap mount. The picture is great and one remote is the way to go. No more multiples remotes laying around.

We had a 65 inch 9 series but this picture blows away any doubts. We took this instead of the 9 series again due to the connection in the wall, it couldn't be run through as it has 300 volts. The smaller screen is due to where it is, above the fireplace, so fit is much better. It does have all the bells and whistles we need including DLNA.

Bought this at Best Buy after reading reviews uhd TVs in consumer reports. The young fellow at the store was very helpful, and took plenty of time to show me all the features and giving me the difference between this tv and the Sony. Set up was easy, and the connection box that can be hidden allows you to have a single thin wire carrying all the input, output and power to the tv. Big advantage.

While this TV can have decent picture sometimes. The motion blur on all content is a joke for such an expensive TV. HDR content, Netflix, 4K, cable. Doesn’t matter. Upscaling normal cable is very poor as well. This tv also had to have the panel replaced within the first 8 months due to faulty edge lighting on the bottom. I will say Samsung was good about prompt replacement though.

Well what can I say that hasn't been said before, it's a Samsung, right off the bat you're starting with a great company. They make some of the best displays you can buy. Using the smart remote is intuitive, and really needs no explanation, all the controls are clearly identified, what is nice are the Bixby voice commands, I didn't think I would like it but after using it it's really quite good. The set itself has a terrific picture, it's physical design is thin, modern and sleek looking. I guess the thing that's most impressive is their "one connect" interface. There are no HDMI or USB connectors physically located on the TV itself. A separate box houses every possible connection you can imagine. The only connection on the TV is a very small diameter cable that includes fiber optic for audio and video and power. I'm still trying to figure out how they accomplished that but it works beautifully. Setup and installation was quick and easy the instructions were clear and concise. I would recommend this set to anyone. Be prepared to pay for all this technology it isn't cheap but what is these days.

Decided to upgrade to a QLED tv and I have to say I am quite impressed! Setup was a breeze it instantly recognized all my external devices (PlayStation, Apple TV, Blu-ray player, and Sonos system) and added them to the input menu. The TVs remote controls all my devices and I didn’t have to do any programming of the remote. One remote to control them all!!! Wow! The picture quality of this tv is jaw dropping to say the least. It was relatively easy to setup (take two people to do it and you need to use extreme caution when handing the tv so as not to damage the screen. READ the manual on how to properly handle the tv before you lift it out of the box! I also added a new Samsung M8500 4K Blu-ray player to my setup and highly recommend it as well, it’s flawless intergration and 4K play back will blow you away.

I’ve had this TV for a few months now. I absolutely love the picture. Even several months later I’m still amazed every time I watch the TV. The 55 inch is just the right size for my room. The sound is fine without a sound bar and I can turn it up quite loud. I’m using a cable remote with the TV that works fine for the most part. The TV is wall mounted and the one change I would’ve made was to have it mounted flat against the wall instead of on a tilt able mount. My condominium has metal wall studs, so I could not use the full extension mount I had bought.. The Best Buy installer told me you can only use that type with wooden studs in the wall. I had to make a change to another mount that he had in this truck As a result I can’t really turn the TV enough to compensate for the reflections at shallow angles If I’m trying to watch the TV in the kitchen. Would’ve been better just to mount it flat on the wall and then I would’ve been able to see it better from more locations in the living room/dining room. The downside of the TV is that is the picture is best viewed directly in front of the TV. I wouldn’t recommend it in a medium size room with people sitting off to the side of the room at more than a 30 degree angle to watch the TV. The other con is that there are a significant amount of reflections on the screen if you are standing off to the side. I am very happy with the TV and the features. Every TV is a compromise between picture quality and viewing angle. Except for perhaps the OLEDs, but those come in at a much higher price point. If you can sit in the sweet spot for this TV’s viewing angle, It has an outstanding picture with a brightness and color pop that makes TV watching an immersive experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again

I've now owned my Samsung LED Q7F Series 4K UHD TV for a couple of weeks and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I have been a Samsung TV guy for the last 10-15 years and they just get better and better. The picture quality is really amazing and the sound is definitely a very good upgrade from my last Samsung smart TV although I will be using my bose speaker system going forward. The remote that comes with the TV is very simple and intuitive to use and the app menus on the TV are very easy to maneuver. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

A very awesome TV. The picture is unbelievably Great, not perfect as an Oled, but very close. The only reason i didn’t give it five starts, was because the ambience mode has a bug, it shuts down after a minute or so, if the auto brightness is selected. You can turn auto brightness off, and it will stay on, but the ambient mode will be too bright for it’s application. Hopefully this will be corrected in a firmware uodate in near future. I love to have one remote to control all my devices, very convenient!

Excellent in Some Ways - Not So Much in Others

Let's start with the positive. This TV provides a terrific picture, and that is pretty important! And, the sound from the internal speakers are incredibly good as compared to many modern TVs. That is another good trait. This is a multi-faceted "smart TV". That might be a good thing, but maybe not! The good sound from the internal speakers is not too important to me. I like to use my Onkyo home theatre system to manage the sound. That is an important factor to keep in mind as you read this review. A second important factor to keep in mind is that I am anything but a geek. Keep things simple and logical to make me happy. I found this set incredibly frustrating to set up. There is almost no printed documentation. While the interactive manual is lengthy it is amazingly superficial. There are no step-by-step directions to follow in order to integrate my cable system, the Onkyo tuner, and the Samsung TV. I found the interactive connection guide to be nearly worthless. In theory, the universal remote should control the TV, cable, and home entertainment system. That has not proven to be the case for me. After several weeks of "trial and error" I might have finally found the right set-up. Maybe! This may be a "smart TV"; maybe it is too smart. At least it seems to have a mind of its own. What? Every now and then, without any action on my part, the set decides to change its input component. I'm watching cable one second, a "smart app" pops up the next. The solution? I disconnected the set from the internet. The owner of an Apple-TV, I don't need the streaming services, anyway! I hope that other buyers have had better experiences! My strong preference is to write positive reviews, but it is hard to be enthusiastic about a product that has provided more frustration that I wish to experience. Excellent in some ways - not so much in others. (Yes, I would recommend this TV, but not with great enthusiasm.)

      Hi Archic,

I am sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with the Q7FN TV.
The Q7FN comes with a feature called“HDMI Auto Detection” that enables the TV automatically changes the source to the device that connected to TV or turning on.

Here is the guide to turn off the feature:
      http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/popup/pop_troubleshooting.jsp?idx=1000467&modelname=QN55Q7FNAF&modelcode=QN65Q7FNAFXZA&session_id=77LcbVJHhpDYlqBzhthNJJblFxp4LFPMYMJnY0hbW1p0pFgsPvMG!-460355440!-1132558135!1528154599014&from_osc=&ia_cd=N0052673

There should be QSG and User manaul in the package.
The QSG is located at top of the box, while the User Manual is in the accessory bag.

You can also download the eManual by following this link:

The picture quality is terrific and very easy set up. Remote is small and easy to use as well with very few buttons. However we almost shattered the TV upon trying to remove the protection that was on the screen after unwrapping so I would advise to be extremely careful. I don’t believe it was attached correctly. Overall, sturdy base and very thin appearance!

I spent a lot of time researching tvs once our crappy Vizio tv quit. So many choices now. Read every review on every site. Went to Best Buy 3 times before purchasing. We have a very bright room with Windows across from the tv so reflections are a huge issue. FINALLY decided to suck it up and spend a little more for the Q7. Sooooo glad we did. First of all it was super easy to set up. I didn't even need to program my Frontier Fios box or remotes..it set them both up without me doing anything! The reflections are not an issue either. This tv has 1 layer of anti reflective-- if you want to spend more the Q8 has 2 and Q9 has 3. This one seems sufficient for us. We bought a sound bar but returned it cause we were happy with the sound on the tv so returned it. When we watch a movie we change it from optimized to amplified. Then we went back and bought a blu Ray and once again I plugged it in and everything set up by itself. I love the plug ins being separate from the tv..much easier to reach. My absolute only complaint is that sometimes pics a little dark at night-- seems more prevalent in older shows. After research I turned off the Eco sensor and that helped. It's easy enough to turn back on if I need to. We have had many comments about how clear and sharp the picture is. If you watch a lot of tv as we do it is well worth the investment. !!

The TV fits perfectly in our entertainment center and provides outstanding picture and smart TV functions. The picture quality is excellent and works well in our living room with its multiple windows. We have been exceptionally pleased with it. The one drawback we have noticed is that it does not have a swivel base. We must rely on the built-in swivel in our entertainment center, meaning the TV is less visible from a good portion of our seating arrangement. The smart TV functions work well and we have been pleased. It takes a bit of time to get used to which remote to use, either the TV or the cable (Xfinity) depending on what you wish to watch, but both work very well.

Excellent tv and and an even better deal. I got this TV at half the price from it's original since it was an open box deal. It was missing some essentials but still works great. This TV and the Q9 come with a really cool thing called "One Connect." It allows you to hook everything that you want to connect to the back of the TV to this separate box and from this box to the tv a thin cord transfers all the display data and power. It makes the back of the TV look very tidy, which I love. Interface is pretty good. There is a bit of a learning curve and intial setup process in the beginning but we'll worth it.
