The TV has an optical/power cable that connects the TV to the controller box. Unless you route that single cable through the wall, there is no way to hide that one cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Scheduled to have Geek Squad install our new 55" "The Frame" TV today. BOUGHT IN-store with full intention of running whatever wires inside wall (in pre-exisiting metal conduit for future wall mount tvs) - even charged for wiring it in the invoice. SURPRISE! Installers arrive today (2 weeks later) to inform us that Samsung One-Connect cord from TV cannot go inside wall. MUST be installed on outside of wall per "codes." (Even if we wanted to do ourselves after-the-fact, they informed us that the cord connections are too large to physically fit down inside wall.) Very unhappy and had them take it all (TV/audio equipment) back to store. Will file for refund. Beware. Best Buy store knew our intentions and did not let us know that this was not possible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Learned from Geek Squad that this cable is not "rated" to be installed behind a wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No—unless you run the fiber optic cable through and behind the wall or in a groove that you then cover over.
