I have Samsung remote BN59-01315J with channel buttons It turns TV on and off. Also this TV has Alexa, just say Alexa, turn off the TV. Dont know if there is a on-off switch. Hope this helps.

If it still won't power your TV on, make sure the battery has a sufficient charge (All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Available Remote Battery). If you'd rather use another remote, you can use a universal or Samsung-branded replacement remote; you can also power the TV off by using the TV controller button which is located directly below the Samsung logo on the bottom bezel of your TV.
