“I just purchased this TV as it is listed with having 120Hz capability. When I go into my Xbox settings it says this TV set up does not support 4k UHD @ 120Hz.... is that correct, or does this TV actually support that?”

It does support it. For instance for the new call of duty you have to change settings in Xbox first then in call of duty. Are you also using the gaming hdmi port on the tv with the Xbox Hdmi. It will also have to be the new Xbox series x.

Rich, the community answer below is correct. You will want to make sure you are using the correct HDMI cable in port 4, also make sure the TV is in game mode for best results. ^Celina

It does but you have to have a 18 gbps HDMI cable in the video game port. I also put the TV in game mode. Did this and checked my output settings in my PS5 and it confirmed 120hz. The setting only kicks in with certain games though as not all are supported.
