I don't know the answer to your 2nd question but have not needed to try this setting. My 4-year-old Vizio sound bar connects to this TV with a digital optical cable. There is also a single input on the TV for a 3.5mm cable. The TV provides ready access to Netflix. I don't know about stick.

The TV has several HDMI slots so your fire stick and other HDMI devices will work. You can load all the streaming services via your internet service or cable service.
