"Obviously the back" is what I thought too when I bought this thing, only to discover otherwise. It turns out the TV panel is one device, and then the box that contains the power supply and the compute for the smart TV and the HDMI etc is a completely separate device. The two devices (the display panel itself and the compute module that drives it) connects to the very center of the panel with a proprietary cable. The device does not attach to the back of the TV as far as I can tell unless you're willing to sacrifice your VESA mounting options, but it does mean that you must put it elsewhere. This means your power connects somewhere else, up to 6 feet away (length of the proprietary included cable), your choice of location.

Instead you get 6 nearly identical front angle shots of the tv. This was clearly an intentional decision to deceive potential buyers regarding location of the HDMI ports and mountability options.
