• Yes, the box for the 58" does show the width of the legs as 40.3" wide, so you should be fine.

• The legs outside dimension is 40 1/4", the set width is 50.5" I also have a 47" wide media chest and it looks great with just a bit of TV set overhang.

• Yes, the tv should fit just fine. I have a similar size table.
