• Hi Pete, No, the U8000F does not offer a digital optical connection. It does offer 3 HDMI inputs and is Bluetooth-enabled. ~Samsung Advisor

• I don't see one on the unit despite 21 references to one in the manual provided on Samsungs website for the TV.
