The burners are a bit heavy as they are cast iron but once removed can be easily cleaned. I literally wipe down my stove with white vinegar and the grease comes off quick. no need for scrubbing. I've had it for over a month and no scratches yet.

The only difficulty is the large burner covers can be a little bulky when washing them in the sink. We’ve had the stove for several months and have not had any issues with cleaning it or getting any scratches.
