I'm sorry for any confusion about this, AZ! Because this model allows users to enter the desired temperature using a number pad instead of arrow buttons, it does not require the temperature be in any set increment. Any temperature (in any increment) can be entered as long as it is between the minimum and maximum settings. ^Jecca
