“What app is used for this 2019 washer and dryer. I keep trying to connect and this will not connect to my samsung note 9. I have tried the smart home and the smart things app. Am I missing something?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Samsung SmartThings. Once connected there, I was able to link SmartThings to GoogleHome. I think the step most people might miss is you have to use your phone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the washer. This is how you give the washer the info it needs to connect to your home Wi-Fi; repeat same steps for the dryer. Ours worked easily following the directions. If yours doesn’t I’d assume a problem and call bestbuy.
