I'm so glad you asked, Tam! The power cord is sold separately so that each user can purchase either the 3-prong or the 4-prong, depending on what type of outlet is available in their home. ^Jecca
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The number of prongs depends on the wiring in your house. An older house (before 1996+/-) would have had the 3 prong cord. A new house will probably have a 4 prong cord. But if there were any renovations to the kitchen of an older house, then it may have been updated to a 4 prong outlet. The best thing to do is to pull the stove out and pull out the plug from the outlet to see what you actually have. Though it is my understanding - If you are having Best Buy deliver/install the stove to your house, then you won't have to worry about it. They will bring a 3 prong and 4 prong cord to connect up your stove, depending on what outlet you have. Hope this helps. Have a great day!!
