Hi Fred, The steam cleaning function is used for light cleaning. To take advantage of the steam clean function, simply pour a cup of water approximately 10 oz. (300 ml) (not distilled) in the bottom of the oven. I have shared the manual so you can learn more about the steam-cleaning feature. Please read pages 52-53 for further information. Steam clean is a simpler way to clean your oven when it is not heavily soiled. You simply put the amount of recommended water in the bottom of the oven and choose the steam clean option from the control panel.
